The Love Yoga, Love Life philosophy of Barefoot Yoga is a celebration of life through yoga, nature, mindfulness, meditation, self-love, music, food, friendship, connection, community and wild parenting.

Yoga Classes

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, all in-person classes have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.

However, I am offering a weekly Zoom class on Thursdays at 7pm, so that you can practice from the comfort of your own home. These classes are currently running on a donation basis and last approximately an hour.

Tips for getting the most of of your Zoom session:

  • Create the cosiest vibe possible. Think cosy blankets, mugs of hot chocolate and soft light
  • Light some candles
  • Open the session and immediately lie down and get super comfortable
  • Let me do all the rest

New to 2021 – Lunar Meditation and Journaling sessions which occur each New and Full Moon.

I am already planning a number of workshops and events for when we are able to meet again in person. These will include, Nourish Your Soul workshops, Forest Bathing and Essential Oils and Yoga. I am collaborating with some super exciting people who are experts in their field and have a fantastic new outdoor space, immersed deeply in nature, where we can gather and grow.

If your busy work schedule makes it difficult to get to class regularly, I am available 1 to 1.

Before your first session we will talk, either in person or on the phone, so I can ascertain your needs and wishes and tailor a personalised practice for you. Whether you want a weekly session focusing on strengthening your core or learning how to truly relax and de-stress or just once a month with time to develop a self-practice between sessions – the choice is yours. I will be available between meetings to talk to you on the phone and offer guidance, inspiration or reminders!

I am particularly keen to offer yoga and relaxation to teenagers. As school life becomes ever more demanding and stressful, yoga offers the perfect way to chill out, find some headspace and fall in love with your sparkly, awesome self. Wedding Yoga and Healthy Hens (On hold until after lockdown)

If you are getting married in the stunning Lake District and you would like to experience some grounding and calming yoga on the run-up to your big day, then you’ve come to the right place. I can offer some delicious, mindful Barefoot Yoga, 1 to 1 or for you and your soon-to-be-husband or you and your bridesmaids. This could be when you first arrive at your hotel, the evening before the wedding or even on the morning itself! I will tailor an hour session to your needs at your venue, will provide mats and help you feel connected and calm.
